in conjunction with the BACH at the BEACH Play-in
Join us for a fun weekend of relaxing, playing and sharing. Swim in the ocean, read some new music, exchange ideas with colleagues, learn some new games, inspire some kids, enjoy good food, great friendship, and fun!
Date: Friday-Sunday, September 23-25, 2016
Location: The Seaburn Cabin, and Perry Pavilion at Quintana Beach County Park,
330 5th St, Freeport, TX 77541
Fee: $20.00 per person staying overnight in the cabins – please reserve your spot ASAP

Teachers’ Schedule
FRIDAY
2:00pm – Check-in
2:00-6:00pm – relax in the cabin or swim and relax on the beach and chat with friends
6:00pm – Dinner at the Red Snapper Inn, 402 Bluewater Hwy, Freeport, TX 77541
8:00pm – A Little Night Music! A teachers’ jam session/ensemble music reading session, and s’mores for dessert.
Bring your instrument, a music stand and ensemble music or chamber music of any level.
SATURDAY
6:45am – Sunrise Swim at the beach OR sleep in until brunch.
10:30am – Pot-Luck brunch. Bring breakfast or brunch items to share. Bagels, donuts, omelet fixings, juice, etc.
12:45pm – Go to First Presbyterian Church of Freeport to set up for the student play-in.
2:00pm – Student Play-In followed by a return to the beach for cookout and swimming.

6:00pm – Teacher sharing time: discuss favorite practice games with teachers and watch Nurtured By Love.
8:00pm – Teachers On The Town! Teachers night out at Pirate’s Alley Cafe,
310 Ocean Ave, Surfside Beach, TX 77541
SUNDAY:
7:30-10:00am – Pot-luck Breakfast
10:00am – clean-up
11:00am – Check-out of the cabin.
11:15am – anything goes! Not ready for the weekend to end? Visit the beach one last time or go out to lunch
with the teachers before heading home.
