Ribbon Festival

The 30th Annual Ribbon Festival
Saturday, April 11, 2026

The STXSA Ribbon Festival is a wonderful opportunity for students to have a positive performance experience that will be adjudicated by an expert panel of music teachers. Students will perform during a designated studio time slot. After their performance, they will receive a written critique from a clinician, giving them positive feedback on their performance and also ideas for further progress and improvement. Every student participating receives a medal on a colorful ribbon that they can wear as a symbol of their achievement.
All solos must be performed with accompaniment, either with piano or a teacher duet part, unless their piece is written without accompaniment or for solo piano or guitar. Please rehearse with your accompanist before you arrive. There are no rehearsal spaces available at the performance location.
