Christine Goodner is a dynamic and highly trained Suzuki teacher and the director of Brookside Suzuki Strings, a violin & viola studio in Hillsboro, OR. She also teaches Suzuki Early Childhood Education Classes in Hillsboro & Portland through Da Capo Suzuki Early Childhood Education. In both of the programs, Christine is passionate about helping her students develop their skills to the best of their ability, while gaining a life long love of music.
Christine has a passion for parent education, life long learning & building the Suzuki Community. She has had articles published in the American Suzuki Journal and is the author of multiple books including the Suzuki licensed book Beyond the Music Lesson: Habits of Successful Suzuki Families (available on Amazon). Michele is an internationally recognized guitar teacher who began teaching the Suzuki method in the year 2000. Michele is the Head of the Suzuki Guitar Department at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music. Previously she was the String Director of the State College Suzuki Program in Pennsylvania. She was also on the guitar faculty of the 14th Suzuki World Convention in Melbourne, Australia.
Michele is the author of Life Lens: Seeing Your Children in Color. She is a sought out consultant to Suzuki schools, parents and educators around the world as well as an in demand clinician at Suzuki workshops and Institutes across the U.S.
